Today's shot is from our neighborhood, and it doesn't convey the majesty of this house (also 2/3's is cut off)
Besides the fact that it is a BEAUTIFUL piece of architecture, it has been fodder for my oldest daughter's imagination for years.
When Katie was little we would walk this route and she would tell me about who lived there. She believed it was a Princess runaway from France. The Princess missed her county so much that she brought over mountains of dirt from France and built her castle on french dirt.
She had to have many rooms in her castle for all her cats and ponies. Katie's story has remained pretty constant over the years, except now the story involves a Miley Cyrus type person, who needs space for all her fab clothes.
I asked Katie if she wanted to know who really lived there, and she said she didn't!
The sad reality is the house is owned by a couple of investment bankers.

oh, such a amazing house....
Wow, this house is a dream! Reminds me of Pippi Langstrumpf from astrid Lindgren!
Your photo editing is perfect for this pic - gives it this nostalgic feeling!
This is totally magical! I love that she prefers to invision her own happy ending for it too!
